The challenge

A school trip is six jobs, and none of them are teaching.

Most coordinators end up chasing drivers, hotels and consent forms in the same week they are marking papers.

Transportation

Finding roadworthy vehicles and drivers who know the KKH.

Food

Meals for 40+ students, on time, at every stop.

Accommodation

Rooms that fit a school group — and a supervision plan.

Destinations

Which valley is actually worth the travel time and budget.

Safety & consent

Risk assessments, medical forms and parent approvals.

Coordination

Twenty phone numbers and no single point of ownership.

The solution

One partner, one plan, one price per student.

Send your requirements once. We return a day-by-day itinerary, an all-inclusive per-student cost, a route risk assessment and ready-to-send parent forms.

Safety & duty of care

The part your principal will ask about first.

Mountain roads, altitude and large groups deserve a written plan — not reassurance over the phone. Here is exactly what we put in place.

Inspected vehicles, experienced drivers

Every Coaster, Hiace and jeep is checked before departure and driven by drivers who work the Karakoram Highway daily — no night driving on mountain sections.

Written risk assessment per route

You receive a route-specific risk assessment covering road, weather, altitude and activity risks before you seek school approval.

Supervision ratios that work

We plan around one accompanying teacher per 15 students, with free teacher places built into the quote, plus a PeakTrip coordinator per vehicle.

First aid and medical readiness

First-aid trained coordinator, stocked kit on every vehicle, collected allergy and medical declarations, and the nearest hospital identified for each leg.

24/7 line for the school office

A scheduled check-in at each milestone and a live emergency number your principal can call at any hour of the trip.

Consent handled properly

Bilingual parental consent and medical forms, plus a parent information sheet with the itinerary, contacts and packing list.

Planning calendar

Best time to travel

Gilgit-Baltistan changes completely across the year. Pick the window that matches your academic calendar.

April – May

Blossom season in Hunza. Mild days, great for heritage and culture trips.

June – September

Peak window. Naltar, Fairy Meadows and Khunjerab are open and snow-free.

Sept – early Nov

Clearest mountain views and autumn colour. Best for photography-led trips.

December – March

High passes close. We recommend low-altitude day trips only, or waiting.
